Eligibility
Single adults and
families are eligible for residency providing the following criteria is
met:
1) Head of household or spouse is disabled, handicapped or elderly age
62 or older.
2) Household's income is less than the maximum income
limits established by HUD which are $40,600 for one person, 46,400 for
two persons, $52,200 for three persons and $58,000 for four persons.
3) The household
meets all program and resident
eligibility requirements including an acceptable credit and rental history.
The applicants must have the ability to comply with all terms of the lease.
A criminal background check will be obtained on all adult applicants.
Affordable
Rent
Inwood House has
rent subsidy available through a Section 8 contract maintained with the
U.S. Department of Housing and Development (HUD). Therefore, households
pay 30% of their adjusted gross income for rent. Every year, each household's
income is reviewed and rent is adjusted accordingly. Utilities (water and
electric) are included in the rent. |
