Inwood House
Item Donations
- As a 503 (c)(3) organization recognized by the IRS, Inwood house will provide receipts to show our acknowledgment of your donation.
- New and lightly used items are used by the staff and the management team to allow residents to be their most independent selves.
- Items needed are household goods, kitchenware, electronics, computer equipment, nonperishable foods.
Volunteers
Volunteering at Inwood house can be a great way to serve your community. We have several fulfilling roles that volunteers fill for us, based on your individual time and resource commitments. Inwood House is an SSL-recognized location so you can complete your Student Service Learning requirements for the Montgomery County public school system.
Some examples of volunteer positions are
- Friendly visitors
- Special events
- Recreation leaders
- Computer instructors and troubleshooter
Monetary Contributions
Financial contributions allow us to provide engaging events for our community of residents here at Inwood House. Our events help to develop our Inwood House community and are also just a lot of fun for our residents. Example events include our legendary Crab Feast, Thanksgiving dinner, and St Patrick’s day party.
