We are Hiring!

We are looking for energetic individuals to join the Inwood House team in providing an exceptional, independent living community for our residents.

 First year, full time benefits include: eight paid holidays, nine floating holidays, twelve vacation days, sick leave, free employee health insurance and 401k match. Part time employees receive sick leave.

 

 We are hiring for the following positions:

 

 ·         Front Desk Attendant

 

o   Our Front Desk staff serves at the first point of contact for our resident’s and guest’s to answer questions and help solve concerns

o   The Front Desk staff is also responsible for monitoring the property and building systems by viewing security camera footage and walking around the building

o   One year of work experience required. Experience as a Concierge or as a Security Officer preferred

o   Two positions available

§  One full time position. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 12 am

§  One part time position. Work hours are Saturday and Sunday from 4 pm to 12 am

 ·         Lunch Program Manager

 

o   The Lunch Program Manager receives premade meals, ensures that meals are received and served at the proper temperature, and serves meals and beverages to residents

o   The Lunch Program Manager is also responsible for keeping accurate records about meal service and reporting the information to Montgomery County by email and Excel spreadsheets

o   One year of work experience required. Experience in Food Service preferred

o   One part time position available. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 1 pm

 ·         Occupancy Specialist

 

o   An Occupancy Specialist is needed to process interim and annual rent recertifications for a 150 unit apartment complex.

o   The Occupancy Specialist will also serve as the main point of contact for housing applicants, will manage the waiting list and process applicants for move in

o   Prior work experience in Section 8 recertifications is required. Certified Occupancy Specialist or Assisted Housing Manager or similar certification required

o   One full time position available. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm

 ·         Community Resource Advocate

 

o   A Community Resource Advocate supports our resident’s independent living by works with residents to determine gaps in their service plans and provide referrals to resources to fill those gaps

o   Also, works with residents to foster independent living skills and self-advocacy

o   Prior work experience in providing service referrals, case management, and knowledge of state and federal senior and disability services required. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Social Science or similar required

 

o   One full time position available. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm
